6pm - The Early History of the Wood River Valley

Tue March 5, 2013

Event Description:
Join Sandra Hofferber for an evening celebrating the launch of her book and Idaho's 150th Birthday!

More Info:

Regional History Departement Librarian Sandra Hofferber's book, A Pictorial Early History of the Wood River Valley, is the result of  a Teacher Incentive Grant from the Idaho Humanities Council. Bursting with photographs of our regions history and stand alone captions and paragraphs, the book is structured specifically for teachers to easily implement into varrying levels of their curriculum. A vocabulary list and reading suggestions are provided for the student that craves more depth.

The grant provides for copies of the book to be given to Libraries and Schools throughout the county.

Come celebrate Sandra's achievement with the launch of her book, some refreshments, and a book signing. The event coincides perfectly with the Sesquicentennial of Idaho. What a wonderful way to celebrate our town's short but amazing history.
