Howard Berger began lecturing at the College of Idaho in 1982, and holds the John Weyerhaeuser Chair in American History. Dr. Berger's regular courses include: Western Civilization, Introduction to the History of the U.S., History of American Ideas, National Socialism and the Final Solution, America in the 1960's, The American Westward Movement, The U.S. since 1945, The American South since 1865, and Modern Russia and the U.S.S.R.
